paula, by any chance you dont have a thick client like powerbuilder or microsoft ADO access involved int eh transaction ? i've seen this error on access from a thick client becuase of microsoft transaction server auto commit internally.

We are running on Oracle 8.1.7 and we have database links to another 8.1.7. Finally when we query objects over the database links within a stored procedure (that has no rollbacks/commits but only had selects and a cursur) we get
It looks like it might be a bug. Has anyone dealt with this one before?
